12 Day Christmas Devotions
We've spent the last month together as a church observing the season of Advent, a time of waiting and anticipation as we long for Christ's second coming in the same way that Israel longed for his first. Advent helps us to prepare ourselves so that we can celebrate Christmas more meaningfully. It lets us step back from the busyness of decorating and shopping to fix our eyes on Jesus, our long expected King. That's what we hope these last few weeks at Woodland Hills have helped you to do.
But as Christmas draws near, the time of preparation comes to a close, and we celebrate that Christ has come in such beautiful humility as we see in the manger. Just as we sought to be intentional about the way we observed Advent together, we want to celebrate Christmas just as well. To do that, we invite you on a 12 day journey with us through the Christmas story. Starting on Christmas Day, we'll be posting daily devotions written by our church staff to help you and your families return to the manger each morning of the traditional 12 days of Christmas.
You'll be able to find them on our website as well as on our church Facebook page. To come along with us on this Christmas journey, subscribe to our posts on Facebook or check our website each morning from December 25 to January 5.
Merry Christmas!
