The History of Woodland Hills Christian Church
- 1983: Woodland Hills Church of Christ was planted
- As of 1999 the Church was averaging 75 people in attendance
- September, 2001: We moved Sunday worship to E.B. Stanley Middle School
- June,
2002: 7.4 acres purchased on Elementary Drive
- February, 2003: A building team met for the first time
- November, 2003: The congregation accepted a building plan
- July, 2004: The congregation voted to borrow $950,000 and begin construction
- The old building was sold in less than 2 weeks
- September, 2004: Moved temporarily into the Food Lion Shopping Center
- October, 2005: We moved into our new 16,000 sq. ft. facility with an average attendance of 158

- We’ve grown 10-15% annually since moving into the building
- Began two Sunday morning worship services in March 2008
- Average attendance in 2010 was 328
- 529 people attended the worship service on Easter Sunday 2010


Upon the very foundation of our church, scripture has been inscribed as a reminder and a constant blessing to all who enter.
